Making a difference in our communities

A smoothie, juice and superfruit bowl franchise is so healthy, it seems almost inherently good. To add good to goodness, Juice It Up! is stepping up the ways we help improve our communities.

Investing in a healthy lifestyle franchise is a great way to own a business that allows you to do well while doing good. At Juice It Up!, we pride ourselves on our passion for evangelizing the benefits of healthier eating to fuel more active and rewarding lifestyles.

We also encourage our franchise owners to get involved in their communities, sponsoring sporting events and connecting with schools to help offer fresh juices, smoothies and bowls. It’s a great way to get kids involved in making healthier choices at an early age. Juice It Up! owners are themselves passionate about living healthier, so it’s gratifying to know they’re helping make good choices more convenient in their communities.

Pairing with worthy partners

Guests come in looking for something healthy, and they leave with something that tastes great and makes them feel better. But not everyone has access to or the income to afford healthy food, particularly in the Inland Empire, one of our core markets.

“We’ve established a number of community initiatives that reach across all of our service area,” says Milena Rimassa, Marketing Director for Juice It Up! “We’ve partnered with Feeding America to help fight hunger in the Inland Empire. They’re putting food collection bins in all 46 of our stores there, and they’ll be picking up donations every month and customers will have the option of making cash donations at point-of-sale as well.”

In a few short months, we will also be working with Second Harvest Food Bank in Orange County, where Juice It Up! is headquartered, to put food collection bins in our 20 stores there and participate with this worthy organization that is part of the Feeding America family of organizations.

“Both of these efforts will allow us to fight the growing problem of hunger, and we’re encouraging our franchisees and their employees to volunteer in this effort, along with our guests,” Rimassa says. “Not just on Thanksgiving, not just around holidays but all year round. Supporting these charities is a way for us to remain actively and meaningfully engaged in our communities.”

More than just a healthy lifestyle franchise
