Juice It Up! Celebrates Chocolate Covered Anything Day All Week Long

Juice It Up! knows that National Chocolate Covered Anything Day is December 16, 2018. Thing is, we can’t wait to choc-up your universe with our delicious PB Cold Brew Mocha – the official Juice It Up! drink commemorating this special day dedicated to chocolate obsession. On annual National Chocolate Covered Anything Day, there is no inappropriate way to celebrate — dark, milk, or white chocolate — anything goes. If you love it, just add it!

For those less inclined to imbibe in an iced peanut butter-cold brew coffee-chocolate smoothie (or bowl made from nonfat yogurt, soy milk and enhanced with protein powder), you can always add Cacao Nibs to any of your favorite Juice It Up! menu item.

Juice It Up! celebrates National Chocolate Covered Anything Day!

Are you considering chocofying our super healthy Vital Proteins Blue Smoothie filled to the gills with Spirulina and collagen?  What about our colorful and yummalicious Acai Berry, Pitaya Passion or protein bowls? Cacao Nibs add taste and nutrition to top off any bowl or smoothie.

Fatty acid profiles of both cocoa and dark chocolate are mostly saturated and monounsaturated, with small amounts of polyunsaturated fat. Dark chocolate also contains enough caffeine for a mellow pick-me-up, but not enough to keep you up at night unless you are particularly susceptible. Now if you want the zinger of chocolate and caffeine, the PB Cold Brew Mocha is just what you might need to get you through a particularly busy spell.

You’d be surprised how easy it is to satisfy your craving with 80 plus Juice It Up! locations throughout California and points beyond. To promote this delicious indulgence, be reminded that just because something tastes good doesn’t mean it isn’t good for you.

Celebrate the one day this year where no one is allowed to question your chocobession whether you’re a dark chocolate purist or one of us, a lover of all-things-chocolate.

If you’ve ever wondered about the difference between dark chocolate and milk chocolate, dark chocolate does not have added milk solids. Dark chocolate generally contains a higher percentage of cocoa solids and ranges from 30% to 80% in solid cocoa. For our purists, you can always add delicious Juice It Up! Cacao Nibs to anything in our stores.

We’ve asked our food scientist to look into a few other chocolate-themed holidays for us. After all, we would not want Juice It Up! to become remiss in celebrating Milk Chocolate Day, Chocolate Milkshake Day or other such holidays. You can always check back with our blog or simply Google Juice It Up! chocolate to stay on top of our chocolate offerings. Or, you can follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest for real time Juice It Up! chocolate news.

Test your local Juice It Up! barista. Ask him or her how many Cacao Nibs make up a bar of dark chocolate. Of course, a single serving Cacao Nib topping is a lot less than a full-on candy bar, but that is a good thing. It means you can add it more often. In fact, every time you top with Juice It Up! Cacao Nibs, you will be adding fiber, iron, and taste.
